Willowemoc Creek

The Willowemoc Creek, or the Willow as it is commonly called, is 27 miles long. In its smaller upper reaches it harbors wild brook trout and as the many feeder creeks flow in it gets bigger and stocked brown trout take over. The Willow is an especially popular and picturesque fly fishing stream. Most Anglers fish between Livingston Manor and Roscoe where public access is easy to find.

The Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is located on this stretch and the camp kids get to visit the museum to learn about our pastime’s most influential anglers and pursue trout in theses famous waters. The Willow joins the Upper Beaverkill in Roscoe at Junction pool where the fabled “Two Headed Trout” lives.
